The community is located on Interstate 94, and is 130 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, 100 miles southeast of the Fargo-Moorhead area, 66 miles northwest of St. Cloud, 215 miles southwest of Duluth and 215 miles northwest of Rochester.

Two ten-ton State Highways add to the area’s accessibility; State Highway 29 running north/south and State Highway 27 running east/west. This system works in combination with I-94 to provide a first class transportation network throughout the region.
